1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Rivvo LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company operating as RIVVO, is responsible for the information practices described in this Privacy Policy. This policy covers rivvonow.com, www.rivvonow.com, the RIVVO account services, and support communications about those services. Contact us at support@rivvonow.com. Use of the service is also governed by our Terms of Service, posted at https://www.rivvonow.com/terms.
RIVVO connects contractors with independent supply businesses and supports registration for material suppliers and dumpster, tool, and equipment rental businesses. Our current launch focuses on New Jersey. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, who receives it, and your choices. It is a privacy notice, not blanket consent to unrelated uses of your information.
Independent suppliers and rental businesses are responsible for their own handling of information after you communicate or transact with them. Their separate websites, contracts, and communications may have different privacy notices. This policy describes RIVVO’s practices and does not replace theirs.
2. Information you provide
Account details. We process names, email addresses, account identifiers, account type, verification and sign-in status, and account creation and update times. Clerk handles current account authentication, including passwords and verification steps. RIVVO uses the verified account identifier to connect your login with application records. Never send passwords or verification codes to our support inbox or another member.
Contractor profiles and requests. You may provide a business name, default job ZIP code, request titles, material descriptions, categories, dimensions or quantities, needed-by dates, and pickup or supplier-delivery preferences. We retain drafts you save to your account, submitted requests, their selected recipients, and the related response history. Include only information needed for the request and obtain permission before providing someone else’s information.
Business profiles and locations. We process business names, selected services, location counts, participating addresses and ZIP codes, material categories, fulfillment options, service coverage, and company logos you upload. Provide business details and images you are authorized to share. A business address can identify a person when a business operates from a home.
Supplier responses. We process availability, partial availability or decline responses, explanatory notes, readiness information, optional indicative prices, and response times. We also record when a supplier marks a request as reviewed.
Plans, trials, and support. We record selected plans, registration status, location limits, and trial reservations, start dates, end dates, and access status. Support communications include your contact details, the content of your message, and any attachments you send. We do not need Social Security numbers, identity documents, or payment-card details in routine support messages or material requests.
3. Activity and technical information
When you use your account, we record activity such as saving or updating drafts, supplier searches and their criteria, submitted requests, supplier responses, and related times. Activity summaries can include draft titles and search filters. We retain account-status changes and administrative action records for operation and accountability.
The service periodically updates a recent last-seen time while a signed-in member uses the visible site. RIVVO uses recent activity to show approximate online-member counts and understand usage. This is not continuous GPS tracking or a recording of your screen. Location matching currently uses information you enter, such as a job ZIP code or participating business address.
Our hosting, authentication, database, and security providers may receive IP addresses, device and browser information, request times, authentication events, error details, and other diagnostic information to deliver and protect the service. An IP address may indicate an approximate location. Cookies and browser storage also support the functions described below.
We receive information from other members when they send a request or response involving your account, and from our providers when they report verification, security, account, or service events. We do not obtain a contractor’s private list simply because another business registers on RIVVO.
4. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; verify sign-in; maintain profiles and locations; save drafts; find participating suppliers; transmit requests to the locations you select; display responses; administer trials, plans, and account access; and provide support.
We also use relevant information to troubleshoot failures, prevent fraud and misuse, review reported issues, maintain business records, understand signup and activity trends, improve available features, meet legal obligations, and establish or defend legal rights. We may use aggregated usage totals that do not identify individual members. Where we use deidentified data, we will maintain and use it in deidentified form, will not attempt to re-identify it, and will contractually require any recipient to do the same.
RIVVO currently does not provide AI plan analysis, automated purchasing, or a delivery-driver marketplace. We do not send member plans or material lists to an AI-analysis provider through the current service. A future feature that changes the purposes or recipients of information will require appropriate updated disclosures and any consent required by law.
6. Service providers and other recipients
Clerk provides account authentication and verification and processes the account, sign-in, and technical information needed for those functions. Supabase stores RIVVO application records, including profiles, locations, saved drafts, requests, responses, business registrations, activity records, and uploaded company logos. Vercel hosts the website and processes web requests and related technical and diagnostic information. Namecheap Private Email provides our support mailbox and processes the messages and attachments sent there. Providers and their subprocessors may process the information needed to deliver and secure their services.
Payments. If you choose a card-required trial or paid subscription, Stripe processes your payment-card details and authorized recurring payments. We send Stripe your account reference, business name, email address, selected plan, and renewal consent details. Stripe collects the billing and payment information you enter in its checkout or billing portal; RIVVO receives related customer, subscription, payment, and billing identifiers and status, including trial and renewal dates. RIVVO does not store your full card number or security code. Existing businesses retain their earlier no-card offer and are not automatically charged or enrolled in the new offer. An identified test checkout does not create a live paid membership.
Authorized RIVVO personnel. Administrators and appropriately authorized service providers may access information for operation, support, security, or legal responsibilities. The admin dashboard includes member details, account status, business and location details, signup and sign-in information, recent presence, activity counts and summaries, and administrative change records. Authorized technical support may also need to review request or response records to investigate an issue. Account history is not publicly displayed, but it is not hidden from authorized staff.
Legal and business matters. We may disclose relevant information to legal advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, address fraud or safety concerns, or protect rights. Information may also be reviewed or transferred in a proposed or completed financing, merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of business assets with appropriate safeguards. Applicable notice, use restrictions, and consent requirements continue to apply.
8. Advertising, tracking, and automated decisions
RIVVO does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising through the service described in this policy. We do not use third-party advertising pixels or session-replay tools on the current website. We use account activity for service operation and internal usage information. Sending a request to the suppliers you select is part of the connection service you request.
Our current service does not change its behavior in response to the older Do Not Track browser setting. Global Privacy Control is a different signal used for certain privacy opt-outs. Because we do not undertake the sale or targeted-advertising activities described above, there is no such activity for that signal to switch off in the current service. We will provide required opt-out mechanisms, including recognition of applicable browser signals, before introducing covered processing. You may also contact support@rivvonow.com about your choices.
Embedded authentication and other service providers may receive device or technical information when you use their functions, including where those providers operate across multiple websites. Their own privacy notices also describe their processing. RIVVO does not use those integrations to build a cross-site advertising profile.
Supplier matching uses information such as categories, ZIP codes, and fulfillment preferences. Plan recommendations use selected business types and location counts. These functions do not make lending, employment, insurance, or similar legally significant decisions about you. Account protections may still apply automated checks for authentication, eligibility, or misuse; contact support if you believe access was restricted in error.
9. Retention, account closure, and deletion
We retain information for the purposes described here, considering the account relationship, saved work, communications, support, security, legal obligations, and disputes. Retention depends on the record’s purpose and the need to preserve it; this policy does not represent that every record is automatically deleted after a fixed number of days.
Account closure disables access and does not automatically erase all application records. Deleting a sign-in account is also not a guarantee that every related draft, request, response, or backup has been erased. To request deletion of your personal information, email support@rivvonow.com. We will review the request, verify identity where needed, and delete or deidentify covered information subject to applicable law and lawful exceptions.
Limited records may need to be retained to address fraud, security, legal obligations, claims, or another lawful recordkeeping need. Backup copies may remain until handled under the relevant backup process. We will explain applicable limits when responding to your request. These exceptions are not a reason to retain all information indefinitely.
Profile edits may not alter historical request snapshots or another member’s lawful records. Contact us if a sent record contains inaccurate or unnecessary personal information. Clearing site data removes browser copies separately; it does not itself delete server records or another business’s copies.
10. Your choices, requests, and appeals
You may update available profile and location fields in your account or email support@rivvonow.com to request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of your personal information. Put “Privacy request” in the subject and describe the request and the email associated with your account, if you have one. You do not need to create an account to make a request.
Depending on your location, the information involved, and the law that applies, you may have additional rights concerning portability, withdrawal of consent, restrictions on processing, certain automated decisions, or opting out of sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling. Some consumer statutes distinguish personal use from business use. We will assess your request under applicable law rather than assume every visitor or record has the same legal status.
We may request information reasonably needed to verify identity or authority before releasing, changing, or deleting account information. Do not initially send a password, Social Security number, or an unnecessary identity document. An authorized agent may contact the same address; we may request appropriate evidence of authority where permitted. We will not require identity verification for an opt-out where applicable law prohibits doing so.
We will respond within 45 days of receiving a verified request. Where reasonably necessary and permitted by law, we may extend that period once by up to an additional 45 days; we will notify you of the extension and its reason before the initial 45-day period ends. We will provide required responses free of charge except where the law permits otherwise. We do not discriminate for exercising a protected privacy right. If we decline a request, we will explain the reason and any available appeal process.
To appeal, email support@rivvonow.com with “Privacy appeal” and identify the earlier request. We will review the decision and respond within the applicable deadline. If a covered appeal is denied, we will provide the relevant regulator complaint route, including the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs where applicable. You may also contact the appropriate privacy regulator directly.
Service, security, and account messages are necessary and are sent regardless of your marketing preferences. We may send occasional marketing emails; every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and opting out of marketing does not stop necessary service messages. We send SMS/text messages only with your express prior consent; message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out. Contact us if you believe your information has been used for unauthorized marketing.
11. Security and processing locations
We use authentication, account permissions, and database access controls to restrict information according to service roles. No website or online storage system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your credentials private, sign out on shared devices, and report suspected unauthorized access to support@rivvonow.com.
RIVVO operates from the United States. Our providers and their subprocessors may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Laws in those locations may differ. Where international transfer requirements apply, we will use the safeguards and arrangements required by those laws; using this website is not a blanket waiver of such protections.
12. Children’s information
RIVVO is intended for adults aged 18 or older using it for a trade or business, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact support@rivvonow.com so we can delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We will display a revised effective date when this policy changes. For material changes, we will notify affected users through account email or a prominent notice in the service. Where required, we will obtain consent before using previously collected information for a materially different purpose. Publishing an updated notice alone is not permission to disregard prior commitments or applicable privacy rights.
